|  FIFA KOREA Patch Team에서 제작한 패치가 오는 6일 독일 뮌헨 공대에서 열리는 "Digital Korea Day(디지털 코리아 데이)" 기념행사의 FIFA 2006 공식 오프닝 경기에 사용됩니다.
대한민국 정보통신부에서 주관하고 ICA(한국정보통신수출진흥센터), KESPA(한국E-Sports협회), KESA(한국첨단게임산업협회)에서 주최하며 삼성전자, KTF, SENNHEISER에서 후원하는 이번 "Digital Korea Day" 행사는 한국의 IT 기술을 독일 월드컵이 열리는 현지에서 과시하고 월드컵을 맞이하여 한국과 독일의 IT 관련 산업의 협력을 촉진하자는 취지로 개최되는 세미나형 이벤트입니다.
이번 행사에서 오프닝 경기로 FIFA 2006을 이용한 한국과 독일의 가상 월드컵 경기가 있을 예정이며, 이 경기에 FIFA KOREA의 공식 패치가 사용되게 됩니다. 한국에서는 박윤서 선수가 참가할 예정이며, FIFA 2006 오프닝 경기 이후 지상파 DMB 기술 시연등의 IT 기술 세미나등이 열리고 노준형 정보통신부 장관의 인터뷰가 있을 예정입니다.

On the occasion of the 2006 German World Cup, the Ministry of Information and Communication has prepared the event in order to support Korean and German soccer teams and strengthen the cooperation in the IT industry between Germany and Korea.
Korea and Germany have maintained close relationships in a variety of industries for a long period time. In particular, IT companies from the two countries have been working more closely than ever before. The recent adaptation of Korean Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (DMB) technologies by Germany is one of representative examples to show such a trend.
Digital Korea Day will be a great opportunity for you to gain a clear understanding of Korean IT industries through his speech of The Minister of Information and Communication, Mr. Rho, Jun Hyong. You will also experience exiting cyber game matches between German and Korean gamers at the event.
